Japanese I-REC
Trading platform

EneTrack is trading platform for Japanese I-RECs.
I-RECs provide end-users with legitimate claims and offer revenue
opportunities for electricity generators.
SCSK contributes to the realization of a decarbonized society by
facilitating the circulation of I-RECs.

OUR MISSION

By driving the distribution of I-RECs, we contribute to the spread of renewable energy.

In order to achieve a decarbonized society, we recognize that an increasing number of companies are choosing to consume renewable electricity by establishing private power generation facilities and purchasing renewable electricity.
Among the many options for renewable energy, what is currently attracting the attention of such companies is the purchase of Zero Emission RECs.
SCSK is working to promote the distribution of I-RECs with the aim of contributing to the global environment.

about Enetrack

SERVICE OVERVIEW

On EneTrack, we offer four key services to ensure highly credible certification of renewable energy attributes.

01.

Issuance Issuance

Issuance

Renewable energy generators can easily submit their generation data—such as generation period and amount of electricity—via EneTrack to the registry. After submission and authentication by the Issuer (third-party certifying body), I-RECs are issued and allocated to the generator’s trading account on EneTrack.

02.

Transfer Transfer

Transfer

Corporate energy consumers can purchase I-RECs issued on EneTrack. After purchase, the certificates and their ownership are transferred to the buyer’s trading account, and payment (excluding fees) is made to the renewable energy generator.

03.

Redemption Redemption

Redemption

Corporate energy consumers can purchase I-RECs issued on EneTrack. After purchase, the certificates and their ownership are transferred to the buyer’s trading account, and payment (excluding fees) is made to the renewable energy generator.

04.

Redemption Redemption

External Transfer

Corporate consumers can transfer I-RECs purchased on EneTrack to an external trading account. Once the external transfer is completed, the I-RECs are transferred out of the EneTrack system and into the external account. After the transfer, they cannot be transferred back to EneTrack.
